Scientist in California are using sheets of diamonds with Tiny nitrogen-filled holes to store millions of times more data (information) than the current silicon-based systems and proccess that information faster. 
The questions that come to mind for me is, with the advancement of technology moving so quickly and Diamonds playing a roll in it, how will the De Beers (who controls a significant portion of the worlds diamond trade) family make an impact on technology by controling how many diamonds are released?
Also who will this effect the cost of diamonds will they go up because more of them are being sold? or will they become just another commodity?
How will this change the computer & IT Support Services industry?
